I'm an attorney in Chicago and personally know Kurt Lloyd. I rarely give reviews and not because I know Kurt but because this is simply true. Ihave read many of his articles on jury selection and have read parts of this book so far and it is unmatched and a "first of its kind" in Illinois. Kurt "knows" juries and how to analyze jurors in depth. It is truly an art but based on all kinds of law that Kurt can recite from memory. I know he can spend days picking a jury which is critical to a plaintiff's case. Many lawyers would never take such care - much less such extreme amounts of time to help an injured plaintiff or to prosecute a wrongful death / medical malpractice case. If you want to learn from the "master" you need to buy this book. Proper "deselection" of prospective jurors is critical. Understanding the rules and responsibilities as a trial lawyer in the process is mandatory - and especially now with social media. Kurt will show you "the way." Buy it!
